DREAM® on!!
At last, after a delay of almost two years, UK regional accounts are being issued by the Office for National Statistics. They came out at UK region level in August, at sub-regional level at the end of October, and at county/Council area level on Thursday 11 December. This is good news for cogentsi customers. cogentSI's DREAM® - Detailed Regional Economic Accounting Model -goes into a lot more detail than the official statistics, but a key feature is that it is completely compatible with official figures. That's fine, as long as those statistics hang together themselves. Now, once more, the official numbers are not too shuggly. For more details of the DREAM® suite of models, follow the links through
