DREAM® - Detailed Regional Economic Accounting Model
Understand how wealth is generated in your area – you may know where the jobs are, but where does the money to pay people come from? a storyboard review of the timetrack of economic history of the area, showing how you got where you are, and assessing, for example, how much local economic prospects are linked to national ones, and how much they are independent, or how much local increases in employment are effective in reducing unemployment and improving social inclusion
an economic impact model, showing the likely effect of a project, such as a new investment, an event, such as a factory closure, or the jobs and GVA supported by an activity or industry.
DREAM® people a model for analysing and projecting demographic and labour market changes.
New in 2008 is a forecast module, designed for short term projections of where your economy is heading, and longer term scenarios of where you could lead it.
